Lingsen You (游凌森, also Lucas You), M.D., Ph.D., is an interventional cardiologist and researcher at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, and an executive committee member of the Center of Cardiovascular Innovation of China (CCI). His work connects vascular biology, medical devices, flexible electronics, intravascular imaging, artificial intelligence and digital twins.

Research themes

Device–vessel suitcordance

A translational framework for matching an intervention with vessel anatomy, haemodynamics, biology and time—from preclinical validation to clinical use.

AI & digital twins

Using intravascular imaging, intelligent photonics and patient-specific modelling to move vascular care from static assessment toward adaptive decisions.

Panvascular platforms

Flexible electronics, intelligent fibres and organ-on-chip systems that connect sensing, intervention and longitudinal evaluation across vascular territories.

Selected publications

Trends in Molecular Medicine · Cell Press · accepted 14 September 2026 2025 World-Class Sci-Tech Journal

An ecological reading of device–vessel suitcordance: three balances that an implanted device perturbs and has to restore. In production; the DOI will be added once the article is online.

Biomarker Research · August 2026 · 14:97 2025 World-Class Sci-Tech Journal

A nationwide cohort of 37,477 patients undergoing PCI for acute myocardial infarction with Killip class III or IV, drawn from the China Chest Pain Center Database (4,089 hospitals, 2019–2023). Using target-trial emulation with BART-based stabilised inverse probability weighting, intra-aortic balloon pump use during hospitalisation was associated with higher in-hospital all-cause mortality (28.1% vs. 19.1%; HR 1.48, 95% CI 1.37–1.61).
